| How complicated can we get? |
Apparently Bungie has decided to take the already unusual new ranking system to a new level for Matchmaking. According to Bungie, not only will you still have your overall ranking (Earned Level + Exp Total), but now you're also going to have individual ranks based on each independent play list.

Although I am a bit annoyed about the whole thing, perhaps this is all a clever ruse for some sort of mini-ARG. They did tell us to "Please Remain Calm, Expect Delays." I guess we will just have to wait and see until E3 is over. If something is released, I will be pleased. If not, oh well.

| Cold Storage - Free 7/7/08 |
Cold Storage - the newest map revealed by Bungie - is going to be free starting on July 7th, Bungie Day 2008.
The price of the legendary map pack is going down from 800 points to 600 points; $10 to $7.50. You won't be able to get the free month of Bungie Pro, but I doubt any of you care about that if you've waited this long.
Like last year there will also be 1 day only gamerpics, so make sure to get online sometime on the 7th to grab them if you're interested.

Since going to Frag a Friend, our acquaintances in the Halo Nation have grown and grown. I thought I would just pass on a message to all of you that I received from one of our friends over at C1NDER.NET

i just wanted everyone to know that at 2:42 am, mel and i welcomed Ryder James Snelson into the world. He was 22 1/2 inches long and 9 lbs 14 oz. my poor wife is wiped out, but everyone is doing fine. i will be posting pics on myspace for all to see.
Congratulations to Fenix and his wife and their newborn son. Hopefully, he won't discover sticky nades until he's at least 3. ;) |

| BT next weekend and the Anstice Trainer |
Since Spartan is gone, we have a large amount of people just sitting in limbo waiting to be put into a company. So, I am going to do some Basic Training so that when they are finally placed in the 20th they won't have to be there for very long. We also still have a ton of people who need to get it done, so this should help get some of them almost out of the 20th. I will need some people to help me out, so if you can make it, please do so. The times are (in Pacific Time):
Friday, May 23rd, 12:00 PM 5:00 PM
Saturday, May 24th, 2:00PM until 6:00PM
Sunday, May 25th, 2:00PM until 6:00PM
Those are the only times I will promise to do BT this weekend. HJS will probably not happen this weekend, so do not get on thinking it will.
If you know anyone who needs to do BT, make sure they get on at one of those times, that they send a FR to the Anstice Trainer (info on that when you click 'read more'). |
